28 Weeks

It's official... THIRD TRIMESTER!

I know that everyone says it, but I cannot believe how fast the last 6 months have gone by.  

Only 12 weeks until we get to meet you, Little Monkey! 

So much to do yet, but for the most part, nothing that can't wait :) 

With Easter in between now and then, I'm sure these next few months are going to go by faster yet!

I'm still feeling great, despite the cold that Eric gave me this weekend... 

I'm definitely ready for some warm weather though... sooooo over Winter!

I think we narrowed down the list of names that we're taking to the hospital.  We're going to wait to choose until we meet you of course! 

And no, we're not telling the ones we're choosing between... 

I can tell you're growing by leaps and bounds lately.

Well, I think most people can probably tell... my bump is growing too:)

We can actually see you move in my belly sometimes - SO COOL!

26 Weeks!

Lots to update this time!

You are starting to 'see' now - although I can't imagine there's a whole lot to look at inside the womb. 

And you are starting to develop your hearing more and more - Let's hope you get my hearing, not Daddy's... that's a different story...

Speaking of Daddy - he put your crib together this weekend - YAY! 

Mommy's OCD can relax a little now :)

We thank Grandma for the OCD gene, however mine wasn't really active until you came along.

This whole 'nesting' thing is serious folks!

I'm not much of a clean freak... ok that's an understatement, I hate cleaning...

Yet somehow, I found it necessary to clean behind the washer and dryer last weekend. 

I pushed the washer to one side and found a huge mess of detergent between the appliances, so of course I felt the need to move the dryer over too...

It took a lot more to get it to move.

It wasn't until I finally did get it to move that I realized why it wasn't wanting too...  It was connected in the back to the dryer vent.

Daddy had to fix that when he got home, oops.

Our old vacuum had stopped working well, so I upgraded a couple weeks ago... WOW!  Am I glad I did!

I filled the dirt canister on it twice now...  ewwww!!!!!
I'd say the old vacuum hadn't been working in quite some time!

I also took it a step further and shampooed the carpets this weekend. (Thanks Michelle!!) 

Our house is now the cleanest its been since we moved in!

I would say we're ready for Little Monkey now, but there's no rush little one... you have lots of growing to do yet so just stay put and get comfortable for a while!  We'll wait :)

24 weeks

It's been exciting lately, Little Monkey!  

You're moving more and more and getting stronger and stronger...

I don't think I'll ever tire of feeling your movements!

Around week 23, Daddy even felt you move!!  What a memory!

Even better though, we got our first glimpse at you thru our first ultrasound this week.

You hid your face with your hands the entire time... Of course Daddy now thinks you're going to  be a boxer and you were just practicing :)  

You're now approximately 1 lb 2 oz, just a tiny little thing still so keep growing!

Your room is now completely free of clutter too!  Some vacuuming and shampooing of the carpets and we'll be ready to put your crib up.

With only 16 weeks left to go, I can't believe how fast the time has gone already.  I'm sure this Spring will fly by even faster too...
